Samuel Aidoo: A Journey of Resilience and Achievement
A journey of resilience and perseverance. It is a great honor to celebrate one of our own, an alumni of Great Mosec.
Samuel Aidoo’s educational journey exemplifies resilience. Early challenges were transformed into a story of academic excellence. This journey has gained global recognition.
Samuel Aidoo was born and nurtured in Gomoa Mankessim on 14th June, 2002. He began his Basic Education at Grace Child Academy in Gomoa Mankessim. He dedicated his precious time to learning. He aimed at achieving greater academic excellence.
Samuel continued his educational journey at Mozano Senior High School (2018–2021) where he read General Arts program. He overcame limited resources through sheer determination. Academic pressure did not deter him, and he successfully passed his West African Secondary School Examination (WASSCE).

In 2022, he continued his trajectory at the University of Education, Winneba. He pursued a Bachelor of Art in Political Science Education. He graduated with First Class Honours, achieving an impressive CGPA of 3.84 out of 4.0.

Beyond his personal academics, Samuel demonstrated exceptional leadership. He served as the Deputy Educational Committee Chairman for the Political Science Students Association. He also founded the “Better Future Study Group.” Through this initiative, he mentored over 60 students. Among them, 55% graduated with First Class or Second Class Upper honours. The group won the “Best Study Group of the Year” award twice.
His intellectual ability and discipline earned him the highly competitive ERASMUS+ Scholarship during his third year. This opportunity enabled him to study at University College Copenhagen in Denmark, from August 2024 to January 2025. There, he distinguished himself by adapting to new academic systems and representing his country with excellence.

Notably, Samuel exemplified gratitude and a spirit of giving back. He returned to Mozano Senior High School for his internship promptly after his exchange program from Denmark. By choosing to serve the institution where his resilience was forged, he showed that success is not merely personal elevation. It is also a duty to uplift others. He now serves at the Centre for International Programs, UEW, contributing to institutional growth.
A proud Fellow Mosecan.
