Background

Founded on September 10, 1983, by the late Prophet Matapoly Moses Jehu-Appiah (Akaboha II), then head of the Musama Disco Christo Church, the institution was originally known as Mozano School Complex. It transitioned into the public sector on August 27, 1992, under the administration of the late Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings, at which point it was renamed Mozano Community Day Secondary School.

Located in Gomoa Eshiem within the Gomoa West District of Ghana’s Central Region, the school has grown significantly from its humble beginnings of just 55 students and 11 teachers. Today, it is a thriving co-educational day and boarding institution with an enrollment exceeding 1,000 students.
